As we move into the days approaching the holiday of Hanukkah, we reconnect with the realization that there is a hidden and mystical aspect of the world that the Greeks and their adherents never understood. That unknowable Essence is represented by the Hebrew letter Aleph, containing within it both the darkness of unknowability and the lightness of that same unknowability, together in the unutterable and wonderous essence of God. 115x94cm on metal.
