The Hebrew letter "ל" (Lamed) represents the concept of learning (limud) in Hebrew. The concept is to study deeply the ancient sources of the Divine and in so doing to connect to the Divine Source. That is why the form of the letter Lamed is built from the Hebrew letters "כ" (Kaf) and "ו" (Vav), representing the numerical value 26, the numerical value of the ultimate name of that Divine Source. By connecting ourselves, by learning properly from one another and our surroundings and from the ancient sources of genuine wisdom, we connect ourselves to our spiritual source and thus fulfill the ultimate purpose of our existence in this transient world.
