The light of Chanukah is a reset of the popular understanding of the world, reconnecting us to the highest light, the ultimately unknowable but real and ever-present wisdom of the Divine. It is by that reconnection that we reset our internal light, focussed formerly on the fleeting and unreal wisdom of physicality and reconnecting to the true wisdom of the neverending Light.
